In the Spring of 23 our close friends, Larry and Barbara visited us here in Charleston. We went out to Middleton Plantation and had an amazing day strolling the gardens. I love to paint magnolias so Barbara helped me find the perfect specimens to photograph as reference for my paintings. So far I've only finished three paintings from the photos. I think this is my favorite. The original is now hanging in Barbara's home.
